Start a run
Open Evaluations → AI Readiness and choose an assessment. Its overview shows a start control, Start [assessment], or Start a new [assessment] if you’ve completed it before. If you already have a run open, use Continue to pick up where you left off. If you’ve submitted this assessment before, a dialog offers to reuse your answers:- Prefill from a previous submission?, choose Review pre-filled answers to carry answers over, or Start blank (“No answers carried over.”).
- It tells you how many will be reused: “[n] of [m] questions will be pre-filled.”
- Reused answers are marked with a Pre-filled badge and, as the dialog reminds you, “Pre-filled answers are highlighted in the form and clear the moment you edit them.”
- Use Continue, then Start with these answers, or Back.
Answer each section
1
Work through the sections
You answer one section at a time. The header shows your place, for example “Section 2
of 7”. Use Next to move forward and Back to return. Rating questions carry a
Rating guide naming what each level means, from 1 Ad hoc to 5 Optimised:
“Rate each item from [min] (weakest) to [max] (strongest).”
2
Watch for the reversed questions
A few questions ask about a risk rather than a strength, for example how resistant your
team is to change. On these, a higher rating is the worse answer, so the scale
runs the other way: the guide reads 1 Not a factor to 5 Severe, the colours are
reversed, and the question is labelled Higher = worse. A section that contains both
kinds shows both guides, one for the usual questions and one for the reversed ones.
Read the guide before you answer: on these questions 5 records the biggest problem,
not the best result.
3
Your answers save as you go
There’s no save button, answers save automatically. The indicator shows Saving…
then Saved. If a save fails you’ll see “Couldn’t save. Retrying on your next
change”, and a progress gauge shows how many questions you’ve answered.
4
Answer everything required
Every question must be answered before you can move on. A missed question shows “This
question is required.”; at section level you’ll see “Please answer the highlighted
questions.” and Answer all questions to continue.
If you open the same assessment in another session, AI Ready keeps the latest answers
and tells you: Answers updated, “This evaluation was changed in another session, so
we loaded the latest answers.”
Review and submit
The last step is Review & submit (eyebrow Final step), “Check your answers, then submit your evaluation.” Each section has an Edit button so you can jump back. When everything is answered, select Submit evaluation (it reads Submitting… while it works). If anything is still missing, you’ll see “Please answer every question before submitting; [n] still need an answer.” If some answers are no longer valid, you’ll see “Some answers are no longer valid. Please review your answers and try again.”After you submit
What you see next depends on whether the assessment produces a report. When one is coming, you’ll see Your report is on its way, “Thanks, your evaluation is in and your report will be ready soon. If you’d like, you can connect with an advisor to talk through your results, or come back to it later.” For an assessment that has no report, you’ll see Your evaluation is in, “Thanks, your evaluation is in. If you’d like, you can connect with an advisor to talk it through, or come back to it later.” Either way, you can optionally add Investment appetite, Target timeframe, and Anything specific?, then choose Send, or Remind me later to skip. If you send it, you’ll see Request received, “Thanks, your request is recorded. The team will see it on their next review and reach out about next steps.”, then Done. Scoring happens in the background after you submit, so your run isn’t scored instantly. See Scores and reports for what you can see afterwards.Related
