Work email or website
Enter the client’s work email or website and select Check domain. AI Ready works
out the company domain from it; personal email providers such as gmail.com can’t be a
client domain. The step collapses to a result badge, for example “On the platform”
or “Not on the platform yet”.

How to work with them
“Connect for a real engagement, or keep a private workspace.” Two cards:
- Connect (Recommended): “Send a connection request to the organisation on this domain. They approve it and choose what you can access: a real, consented engagement.” Select Connect to this client.
- Workspace: “A private working copy only your firm sees. No client login, no consent, invisible to the real organisation.” Select Create a workspace.

Client details / Set up the client
For a workspace (or a brand-new connected client) fill in the client’s profile:
Client name, Organisation category, Registered legal business name,
Trading name (defaults to “Same as legal name”), Industry, and How many
people work there? plus the remaining profile fields.
Picking the industry
The Industry field is a two-step picker. First choose the industry division (the top-level ANZSIC division, A through S). The second list then offers Suggested industries, plain-language options, and the full ANZSIC classification for that division: the whole division, or a specific subdivision or group. Search all industries… searches the entire ANZSIC codeset, whatever division is chosen. Every option is a curated industry or an official ANZSIC code; there is no free-text “Other” entry. The same picker is used in your own organisation profile, so the choice reads the same everywhere. What happens next
- Connecting to a client already on the platform: Request Connection sends your request (“Request sent”) to the client’s owners, who approve it with the access they choose. Until then the client shows Connection Pending on your Clients page, with Cancel request available. See Partnerships.
- Connecting to a domain not on the platform yet: the wizard first takes the client’s details, then adds an Invite the client step: send the invitation to the client owner’s email (Send invite, “Invitation sent.”). The client shows Pending Activation until an owner at that domain signs in and takes the organisation over; the row menu offers Cancel invitation while it waits.
- Workspace: the workspace appears immediately under your Workspaces tab, ready for evaluations you run on the client’s behalf, private to your firm. See Workspaces.
