Where it comes from
You don’t request research. It is gathered automatically while an assessment is analysed: run the Quick Assessment, and once the analysis finishes, this page fills in. What it contains is public information about the company, found from its web domain and its industry — the same sort of thing anyone could look up. It is cached against those public keys rather than against your account, so research about a domain is reused for any organisation on that domain instead of being gathered again. If you have just submitted an assessment, the analysis takes a few minutes. Come back to
this page once the report lands and the research will be here.
The two cards
Both start folded. Select a card’s header to open it.Company research
What we found publicly about the business, grouped into About, Products & services, Organisations, People, Metrics, Credentials, Digital presence, Social media, and Updates, with Data incomplete and Sources folded away at the bottom. A Researcher confidence gauge shows “How certain the researcher was of what it recorded, out of 100.” The header tells you how current it is: Researched [date] with an Up-to-date or Expired badge. With nothing on file yet you’ll see No company research yet.Industry insight
The market research: what is moving in the industry, as a set of findings. Each finding carries its own kind — Opportunity, Threat, Watch or Update — its confidence, its date, and its sources, so a claim can always be traced back to where it came from. The header carries the same Researched [date] and freshness badge. With nothing on file yet you’ll see No research yet.Nothing here yet
If neither card has anything, the cards are replaced by a single No research yet message saying research is gathered while an assessment is analysed, with Go to AI Readiness to run one. If only one of the two has landed, both cards stay and the other shows its own empty message. Advisors looking at a client see the same message without the button: you cannot start a client’s assessment for them. For advisors
Advisors get the same page. It follows your Working with selection: pick a client and Research shows that client’s; on My Firm it shows your own firm’s. The same two cards also sit inside Meeting Prep beside the prep notes — this page is for when you want them on their own, without starting a prep. You can only see research for a client your firm has an active, consented relationship with.Telling us what you think
Open a card and you’ll find a Give feedback button at the end of what it found. It opens a short form about that card specifically. Use it as often as you like. A card with nothing in it yet has no button — there is nothing to give feedback on.Related
