Dashboard → Getting started is the separate activation checklist, tailored to the kind of organisation you are, in two bands. Set up is the core activation path, and it is the only thing the progress bar counts. A company completes its profile, runs the Quick Assessment, reads the report, connects an advisor and goes deeper with the Full Assessment; an advisor firm adds its first client, starts an assessment for them, generates a meeting-prep brief and reviews their report. Both also invite a teammate and set their notification preferences. Each row carries one line on why it is worth doing, and its own action matched to the step and its state: Start or Continue on an assessment, Complete on the profile, Check on a report, Request a match on the Full Assessment before it can start; a finished row shows its tick and no action. Discover is a short feature tour, opened with Open on each row: your plan’s allowances, research and industry insights, capturing a note, exporting a report as a PDF, and for advisors a client’s research, creating a workspace client, and the meeting-prep categories. These rows are optional, each can be hidden with its , and none of them counts towards your progress. Steps that track something real are marked done from what actually happened in the product, so the checklist cannot get ahead of you; a pure look-around Discover row is ticked once you have opened it. A step that is not available yet shows as Locked with the reason. On a first visit a short walkthrough sits at the top of the dashboard showing one step at a time; Not now puts the walkthrough away and leaves the steps exactly as they were. Steps show as pending, in progress, locked or done, and the card leaves the dashboard once nothing is left in either band. You can also hide it there with its , and this page keeps the full list either way.
