# Quickstart

> From signing in to your first assessment result, in five steps.

This is the fastest path from your first sign-in to a completed assessment.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Sign in">
    Go to **/login**, **Sign in or create your account**. Enter your **work email** and
    select **Continue with email**, then enter the **8-digit code** from the email titled
    **Your AI Ready sign-in code** and select **Verify**. You can also sign in with
    **Google Workspace** or **Microsoft 365**. There's no password.

    <Tip>
      Use your organisation email, personal and webmail addresses are not accepted.
    </Tip>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set up your profile">
    On first sign-in you're taken to setup. Complete the **You** step with your **Full
    name** and **Business function** (mobile is optional).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set up or join your organisation">
    If your domain is new, you **Create your organisation**, set its **name**,
    **category**, and **country**, then agree to the consent statement and select **Create
    organisation**. If your domain already matches an open organisation, you **join as a
    member** automatically.

    <Warning>
      Your organisation's **category** and **country** are permanent, they can't be
      changed later.
    </Warning>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Run the Quick Assessment">
    From **Evaluations → AI Readiness**, open the **Quick Assessment** and select **Start**.
    Work through each section, answers save automatically (**Saved**), then, on **Review
    & submit**, select **Submit evaluation**. Completing the Quick Assessment clears the
    **Full Assessment**'s prerequisite; on the Free plan a Full run is started with an
    advisor.
  </Step>

  <Step title="See your result">
    After submitting you'll see **Submission successful**. Your run is scored in the
    background, and your **AI readiness report** is written from it, usually within a few
    minutes. You don't need to wait on the page, the status updates itself and
    **Dashboard → Notifications** tells you when it's **Ready**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Read and share your report">
    Select **View report** to open it. Work down the document, or use the section rail to
    jump. **Export PDF** in the left rail downloads it, and **Add note** keeps your own
    thinking beside it. See [Scores and reports](/using/scores-and-reports).
  </Step>
</Steps>
